West Ham boss David Moyes admits they're seeking to buy cover for Michail Antonio.

Moyes wants to add cover at the back after Angelo Ogbonna's season-ending injury, while the former Manchester United boss is also keen to bring in competition up front. The Scot, though, has warned that it will prove difficult.

"We've been trying probably to get someone who we think can give us competition for Mic [Antonio] for two years," said Moyes.

"It's certainly not an easy thing to do, buying a centre-forward. This club has probably brought in more centre-forwards than anybody, many of them expensive and it has been hard to get them to work.

"I want to bring players in, I want to add to it but I'm not going to do it for the sake of it and I'm not going to do it because the transfer window is pushed heavily by the media. Supporters want new players and when we get the chance, we'll do so."
