Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard has dropped a new transfer hint.
With his deal set to expire in the summer, the 29-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from United and with the January window now open, Lingard may have made clear his preferred destination, says the Manchester Evening News.
The New Year was just a few hours old when Lingard updated his Instagram story with a picture of himself celebrating with his former West Ham team-mates while on loan last season.
The Hammers are among the clubs to be linked with a move for the England international this month – a transfer that would make sense for all parties.
Lingard enjoyed a successful period out on loan with the Hammers, helping David Moyes' side qualify for Europe after being involved in the race for the top four for much of the second half of the season.
