Govt told not to wait until woes go viral

SANDAKAN: The government must be proactive to identify and act on damaged public amenities and not wait till they have gone viral on social media before taking any action.

Member of Parliament for Sandakan, Vivian Wong said this after a Bernama news report two days ago about students from Sekolah Kebangsaan Sibugal Besar, at Mile 10 Libaran, crossing a badly damaged suspension bridge, risking their lives in order to attend school grabbed national headlines.
