Subang Jaya rep lists 16 achievements in 2021 report card

SHAH ALAM, Jan 4 — Subang Jaya assemblyman Michelle Ng Mei Sze has released a report card of her state constituency performance in 2021.

In the infographic posted on Twitter yesterday, Ng also gave out a Happy New Year 2022 wish and apologised for the delay in coming out with the report card.

“Happy New Year dear friends. My apology for the two days delay. Let me share a brief report on the Subang Jaya state assemblyman office report for 2021,” she said on Twitter.

Contained in the report are 16 achievements made by Ng and her Subang Jaya constituency service centre.

The achievements are 7,182 residents had undergone free Covid-19 screening, 6,916 people were administered with Covid-19 vaccine and 4,357 food baskets were distributed during the movement control order (MCO) and enhanced MCO.

Other achievements are free transportation provided for 491 senior citizens to Covid-19 vaccination centres, 3,500 Covid-19 self-test kits were distributed to the community and 100 oximeters provided to Rukun Tetangga (RT), Residents Association (RA) and Joint Management Body (JMB) around Subang Jaya.

Also, the Subang Jaya rep said they managed to get 158 women to undergo free cervical screening tests with the ROSE Foundation and donated 10 units of oxygen tanks to SJ Ambulance.

Ng also subsidised the specialist fee for those seeking mental health professional advice under the Selangor Mental Sihat (Sehat) programme and helped establish the Selangor Legal Aid programme.

Also, 108 students in Subang Jaya received computers to help with their online learning and collaboration was done with Kumpool to implement an on-demand bus hailing system for the Subang Jaya community.

Aside from that, Ng also implemented 12 improvement works in school, playgrounds and service areas using the Small Project allocation.

She had also roped in 150 volunteers for the post-flood cleanup in flood-affected areas and donated 600 units of mattresses to flood victims.

Ng also announced that as of December 31, they have collected 106,156 kilogrammes of materials under the recycle at source programme.
