Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard believes the arrival of Philippe Coutinho has improved everyone's levels.
The Villains got off to a poor start in their Premier League clash against Manchester United at home on Saturday, going in 1-0 down at half time.
Despite improving in the second period, Villa found themselves 2-0 down against the run of play.
However, the introduction of Coutinho into the game changed proceedings, and Villa grabbed a point through a 2-2 draw at the final whistle.
"Phil has lifted Emiliano Buendia, for sure," said Gerrard.
"He has lifted Carney Chukwuemeka, Jacob Ramsey and everyone else around the dressing room which is great to see.
"We want as many good players here as possible, we want players who can play together. Coutinho and Buendia have been shining together in training and they get on well."
