Liverpool are considering bringing forward plans to sign Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma.
The Athletic reports the Reds are now considering a move for the 24-year-old.
Danjuma, only joined Europa League winners Villarreal in the summer after making a £20m move from Championship side Bournemouth.
He has had a successful first year in LaLiga to date, scoring nine goals in 18 appearances for the club.
One potential obstacle for the Reds though is that the player reportedly has a 75 million euro release clause (£62m).
The Dutchman is tied down with the Spanish side until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Liverpool would unlikely pay the full release clause but it's said that they would push for a deal closer to 50 million euros (£41m).
