Tottenham Hotspur are still trying to sign Adama Traore despite Wolves boss Bruno Lage pleading to keep his star winger.

Spurs promised Antonio Conte they would sign a new winger when he took over as manager last year, per Fabrizio Romano.

Conte would like Traore to make the move to north London, but Lage isn't having it.

The Portuguese coach has enjoyed a successful debut season at Molineux and wants Traore to see out the campaign.

Tottenham chief Daniel Levy is working hard to offload players this month.

Matt Doherty, Tanguy Ndombele, Steven Bergwijn and Dele Alli have all been made available.
