TAMBUNAN: Koperasi Usahawan Bumiputra Sabah Berhad (Kuwanis) never made a recommendation to plant guarana before obtaining confirmation and approval from the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and the Department of Agriculture.
Its Chairman, Mohd Redzuan Alim, said his briefing on Oct 16 last year on the Guarana Cultivation Incentive Scheme at the initial stage through the Google meet platform announced that this scheme will only be implemented after receiving enlightenment from the Ministry and the Department of Agriculture.
