Agent Giovanni Branchini has revealed how close Juventus coach Max Allegri was to joining Real Madrid.
Branchini acts as agent of the Italian coach.
He confirmed: “Allegri was one step away from being named Real Madrid's new manager in May.
"Everything was done, the deal was done.
"He just needed to put a signature on the contract, but then he opted to rejoin Juventus."
