
KUALA LUMPUR – A 6.7-magnitude earthquake was detected south of Jakarta at approximately 5pm Malaysian time.
According to Indonesia’s Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency, the quake occurred some 120km off the coast of the Sumur-Banten region.
The agency adds that there is no risk of a tsunami, but residents are advised to watch out for aftershocks. – The Vibes, January 14, 2022
