Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly will miss Senegal's AFCON opener against Zimbabwe.
Both players have tested positive for Covid-19.
The Teranga Lions are set to face Zimbabwe in their opening group stage match on Monday.
Coach Aliou Cisse said: "It's a difficult and complicated situation.
"We are going to be competitive and those there are going to play for those who are absent. We are still going into the game against Zimbabwe full of confidence."
