Manchester United will attempt to tie down Marcus Rashford to a new contract this summer despite his poor recent form.
The Englishman is tied down until 2023, with the club having an option to extend by another 12 months, and currently earns around £200,000-per-week.
ESPN says United will present Rashford with a new long-term contract this summer.
The Red Devils want to avoid repeating the same problems they have found with Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard.
Both players are set to leave the club on free transfers when their contracts expire next summer.
England international Rashford has been underwhelming so far this season.
But the club's hierarchy believe the 24-year-old has still not fully recovered from his shoulder surgery.
