On-loan Basel striker Sebastiano Esposito admits he wants a future with parent club Inter Milan.

Esposito has been out on loan with Swiss giants Basel, having spent last season on loan in Serie B with SPAL and then Venezia who he helped to get promoted to Serie A.

He told Bazonline: "When you're that young, you don't realize what's happening because it all happens so fast. Now I know why I was loaned out.

“With a team that wants to become champions and win the Champions League, and which has strikers like Lukaku, the road is very long.

“But at first I had to learn to understand and accept it. In the meantime, I'm ready to take all the stops along this journey, with an aim of eventually returning to Inter and playing regularly."
