Super agent Jorge Mendes had plans to Bruno Fernandes to Barcelona ahead of his departing from Sporting CP to Manchester United, it has been revealed.
The information was that he was chosen to replace Rodrigo Moreno, who was heading to Barcelona in that transfer window, which later was called off too. Then Valencia coach Albert Celades had given the thumbs up to the deal.
However it didn't happen and he ended up gong to Man United from Sporting - and the rest is history.
Indeed, Fernandes mocked reports just this week linking him Barca.
