Tencent Cloud, Tencent's cloud division, and Kydon Group, Asia's premier digital learning agency based in Singapore, have established a partnership to jointly create and offer cloud computing and other cutting-edge technology courses to Southeast Asian learners. From Q2 of 2022 forward, the first programme will be implemented in Singapore and Indonesia.
With more technologies and capabilities becoming available as services through cloud, this collaboration will help to meet the high demand for tech talents in Singapore and the region. For a start, the joint training curriculum will cover three courses under Tencent Cloud Certification Programs (including Practitioner, Solutions Architect, SysOps courses and more). These online certification programs by Tencent Cloud are designed to provide cloud practitioners with access to insights and knowledge they can use to hone their craft in areas including cloud solutions for game developers, audio and video solutions, Weixin Mini Program, among others.

The courses are meant to be delivered both online and in the classroom through experiential learning activities. Kydon's online teaching and learning platform, ZilLearn, will host the online element. Test preparation sessions are held in the classroom, and proctored online examinations are held for qualification certifications that learners can expect when they complete the programme. Tencent Cloud courses will also be available through ZilLearn+, a Singapore SkillsFuture Credit-backed online micro-learning subscription service with over 10,000 lessons to assist learners develop career agility. Tencent Cloud Certification Exams are also available on Kryterion, and learners can obtain credentials in the form of digital badges from Credly. These digital badges can be displayed across all social media communication channels and on digital platforms.
