Sure, that may seem normal for parents who have grown a tad bit too attached to their children, but for this particular case, there is a heartwarming reason behind it. Natasha and her husband had separated sometime before they decided to give it another go. Perhaps overwhelmed by his mistakes in the past, her husband couldn't stop his tears from falling.
"I regretted the mistakes I've made in the past," her husband said when Natasha asked him about his emotional state, to which she reassured him saying, "you're the best dad ever."
