Brentford are taking no chances with the prospective signing of Christian Eriksen.
The Danish midfielder, who suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch at Euro 2020, is close to signing for the Premier League club.
According to the Evening Standard, the Bees are putting Eriksen through extensive medical tests before confirming the move.
Eriksen and Brentford have agreed to a six-month contract to the end of this season.
The 29-year-old has not played since the Euro 2020 tournament in June 2021.
