Manchester United youngster Facundo Pellistri has earned a surprise call-up to the Uruguay national team.
The 20-year-old is currently on his second loan spell with Spanish side Alaves.
Pellistri has been restricted to minimal minutes this season.
But that hasn't stopped him from being called up by Uruguay coach Diego Alonso.
He will be joined by Manchester United teammate Edinson Cavani.
Uruguay will play World Cup qualifiers against Paraguay (A) and Venezuela (H) on January 27 and February 1 respectively.
