Marco Giampaolo has returned to Sampdoria for a second spell in charge.
Giampaolo took training this morning after agreeing a contract.
The former AC Milan coach has committed to a deal to June plus the option for a two-year extension.
The option will kick in if Samp beat the drop.
Giampaolo takes charge after the departure of Roberto D'Aversa. The deal with Samp was struck on Monday.
