Eden Hazard was ready to sign for PSG before his move to Real Madrid, it has been revealed.

The former Chelsea captain joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2019, but not before he held talks with PSG.

Local journalist Sébastien Denis, speaking with Foot Mercato, revealed former PSG sporting director Antero Henrique had the chance to bring the Belgian to Paris.

However, PSG refused to consider Hazard's demands at the time - €13m-a-year net.

Instead, Hazard left Chelsea for Real Madrid in a deal rising to €140m.
