Brighton boss Graham Potter says he's always felt well supported within the club.

Albion are ninth heading into tonight's home game against Chelsea and have lost just four League games this season.

“I think the mistake is often to think you are better than what you are and think you can succeed in any environment, and it is not the case," he said.

“If you are successful as a coach, you need good people around you and your staff, and at the club the Board, chairman and CEO are so helpful and supportive. We are fortunate to have a fantastic chairman, who provides the clarity and vision for us and allows us to get on with our work. There has never been any pressure or feeling other than support, help and encouragement.

“Then there is the club's strategy, the structures around it and the players, who are so helpful and supportive. What we have here is an opportunity to be successful, to do your job and keep improving. But I am no magician, I need the help of the people around me."
