SK Assumption in Bagan Dalam to be closed down

BUTTERWORTH – The SK Assumption in Bagan Dalam will cease operations from February 28.

The Education Ministry has made the decision to close down the school as the private landowner is seeking the return of the land as soon as possible.

The Education Department director-general has directed the state and the district Education Department to arrange for a smooth transfer of the students to nearby schools.

A meeting was held at the school this morning with the officers from the Education Department, Parent and Teachers Association and board of governors, to brief on the smooth transfer of the students and the welfare of the affected students. – The Vibes, January 8, 2022
