Keningau, Marudu Warisan chiefs also leave party

Kota Kinabalu: More Warisan division leaders have left the party, this time in Keningau and Kota Marudu, following in the footsteps of former Vice President Datuk Peter Anthony.

Keningau vice chief Jickol Tagua, acting women's chief and deputy division chief Julimah Anggula and Wirawati's exco and acting Keningau Wirawati chief Fadilla Lasmin were among those who announced their exit.

"We announce our exit without pressure from anybody. We decided to support Datuk Peter's formation of a new party friendly to the government," said Jickol according to a statement.

About the same time in Matunggong, several chiefs led by Warisan's Kota Marudu liaison head Barlus Mangabis also announced their exit from the party.

Among them were Kota Marudu division secretary and Matunggong Wira chief Herwin Maranjak as well as Matunggong information chief Jotiol Madjamam.
