Kota Kinabalu: Sabah's daily Covid-19 caseload dropped below the 200 level for the first time in a week today to 163.
Today's number was 50 cases fewer than yesterday, said an update shared by Sabah's spokesman for the crisis, Datuk Masidi Manjun.
Fewer new cases were seen in many districts with 16 recording one to seven new patients.
Seven districts registered no new cases while four others had double-digit new patients, namely Kota Kinabalu (50), Penampang (34), Ranau (20) and Putatan (13).
The last time Sabah saw a daily case count below 200 was on Jan 10 when the state registered 161 new cases.
