Newcastle United are moving for New York City FC star Valentin 'Taty' Castellanos.
Castellanos helped NYCFC to the MLS Cup last season and he is expected to move to Europe this year.
The attacker has been linked with NYCFC's Premier League partners Manchester City, though the Toon are keen.
TMW says having turned down Palmeiras' offer, NYCFC are now battling Newcastle's interest who have made two offers.
The first a few weeks ago, was for €8m, the second most recently, was €10m.
However, both bids were turned down by NYCFC.
