Kota Kinabalu: Former Kota Kinabalu MP Datuk Hiew King Cheu Hiew has questioned the repayment status of the RM300 million loan made to AirAsia Group Bhd by Sabah Development Bank Bhd (SDB).
The loan was approved by former Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal during his term in October 2020, in a bid to enhance the low-cost carrier’s logistics presence in Sabah and pivot the airline into digital business.
