Leeds United defender Leo Hjelde was a record breaker with his debut in victory at West Ham on Sunday.
With his second-half subtitution appearance, the 18 year-old became the youngest Norwegian to play in the Premier League.
Hjelde told VG: "It pounded a little in the heart then. Now I have a feeling of achieving something.
"I said that the goal was to play in the Premier League before I was 19!
"In the Leeds system, it is a nice feature to hold several positions. It gives me quite good opportunities to be in the senior squad."
Hjelde is the son of Jon Olav Hjelde, formerly of Rosenborg and Nottingham Forest.
