Fulham boss Marco Silva admits it was a tough day for their FA Cup defeat at Manchester City.
City won 4-1 on the day.
Silva said, "One of the things I asked our players in week and last-thing in the pre-match meeting as well, was to show the courage to play at Etihad the same way that you are playing at all the pitches in this country so far this season. That was the main thing, to show our quality and that the way we are playing is the right way for us to keep improving, and I think we did it.
"I am really pleased with the way we played the first half - I think we matched them. Of course the game is for 90 minutes not just 45 minutes, and we are disappointed with the defeat - but we took many positives from the first half.
"The second half showed us what we should improve, in terms of focus and being a little more aggressive, and showing more resilience at certain moments."
