Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele refused to budge on deadline day.

Despite the insistence of sporting director Mateu Alemany that he would "be sold by January 31", Dembele remains a Barca player with the market now shut.

Off contract in June, Dembele is now set to sit out the remainder of the season before leaving over the summer.

Mundo Deportivo says Chelsea and Tottenham made attempts on Monday to sign Dembele, but the France attacker refused to move.

Despite his stand, Barca were still able to sign Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and fit him under their wage cap.
