KENINGAU: Bingkor Wiramuda Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (StarSabah) lodged a police report here, Tuesday, regarding a posting on Facebook said to slander and defame the party’s President, Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan,
The report was made by Deputy Chief of Wiramuda, JM Jennedy Bundoi, along with several leaders.
It stated that on Feb 22 at about 10pm he received a photo on FB featuring Jeffrey with the words, “Giving Identity Cards to illegal immigrant (PTI) is better than giving PSS to Imm13, Census Cards and Burung-Burung cards holders ”.
Wiramuda asked police to investigate the FB who aimed to cause confusion to the community as well as chaos and affect the unity of the people.
Bingkor Assemblyman Datuk Robert Tawik @ Nordin said Jeffrey in fact strongly objected to the issuance of the card proposed by the government.
