Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says Luis Diaz received a 'welcome to England' moment in his debut match against Cardiff City on Sunday.
The January signing provided an assist on debut as Liverpool ran out 3-1 winners in the FA Cup fourth-round clash.
There was a brief moment of concern when Diaz hit the deck in agony clutching his knee.
In his post-match press conference, Klopp said of Diaz: "He's good, thank god. It was a scary moment. The goal he set up for Taki was absolutely incredible. The high press, counter press, I love it! And then Taki finished it off.
"And then the long ball, the heading challenge, he goes down holding his knee afterwards, we were all really shocked. I looked at the screen and saw that everything was fine in the air, but then I saw the big fella of Cardiff standing on his knee and he has now a bruise there and a scar, it's red and a little bit open.
"We all said to him, "Welcome to England!" And now he has his first assist and his first little scar. He's absolutely okay, I don't think it will be anything serious. Maybe tomorrow he feels it more and we have to react to that but it's nothing serious."
