Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini insists the Europa League isn't a priority as they prepare to face Olympiakos.
La Dea meet Olympiakos tonight in their playoff.
“It remains a European match, even if it's not the Champions League, but this tournament is becoming increasingly prestigious and you do face some very strong teams," said Gasperini
“Maybe three years in a row in the Champions League got everyone a bit too accustomed to that level, but it gave us valuable experience.
“Olympiakos are top of their domestic league, have quick and dangerous players, so this is a real international-level game."
He added: “We want to challenge ourselves, but I don't know if Atalanta can call winning the Europa League a genuine objective. We'll see what happens.
“We don't feel all this pessimism people talk about, maybe we're in a bubble in the training ground. We're limited on options in defence and attack, but the performances have been good recently."
