Burnley striker Michael Mellon has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The 18-year-old has signed a three-and-a-half-year deal at Turf Moor, keeping him at Burnley until the summer of 2025.
Mellon, the son of former Burnley star Micky, joined the Clarets at the beginning of the 2019/20 season from Manchester United as an U16.
The striker, aged 15 at the time, joined Tony Philliskirk's U18 side for their 2019 summer pre-season tour of Prague, where Mellon scored a late equaliser against Turkish side Altinordu on his first appearance.
Mellon featured several times for the youth team throughout his first season at Turf Moor, scoring a handful of times, before signing a two-year scholarship in July 2020.
