Jesse Marsch is a leading contender to replace Marcelo Bielsa as Leeds United manager.

Bielsa was sacked by Leeds on Sunday after a string of poor results which has left teetering above the relegation zone.

A 4-0 loss to Tottenham on Saturday has left Leeds two points above 18th-placed Burnley.

Marsch has been linked with Leeds in recent months, and ESPN claims the Yorkshire club are seriously considering hiring the American.

After success with RB Salzburg, Marsch was given the reins at RB Leipzig last summer.

However, the 48-year-old lasted just five months at the Bundesliga club.
