PAPAR: Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Limbahau chief Datuk Johnny Mositun (pic) called on all branches in the division to hold their respective annual general meeting within the next two weeks.
He said the party branches’ meetings must be held by March 7 as the party’s annual general meeting is expected to be held at the end of March this year.
“As this year is an election year for the party, I wish to remind all the division’s leaders and members to always uphold the spirit of camaraderie among themselves,” he said at a meeting with PBS Limbahau leaders at Dewan Serbaguna Mositun in Sungkadon here Sunday.
Mositun who is also the Limbahau Community Development Officer also urged all the division’ leaders and members to boost their strength at the branch level so that they can continue to support and assist the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) government in its programmes to develop the state.
This is especially important for Sabah Maju Jaya, he said.
“We are the channel through which government policies and programmes for the people are disseminated. Therefore we, PBS Limbahau must strive to serve the people in the constituency well,” he said.
On the election at the division level, Mositun said all posts including that of the division chief are open for contest.
He also urged division leaders to conduct membership campaigns so as to attract more interest from the younger generation to join PBS.
