Leeds United and Aston Villa have played out an entertaining 3-3 draw at Villa Park on Wednesday.

Like prize fighters, the two sides traded blow after blow, with Daniel James landing the first punch for Leeds with a low finish into the far corner.

Philippe Coutinho equalised for the hosts, collecting Matty Cash's cross before firing into the bottom corner.

Two goals in five minutes from Jacob Ramsey - both assisted by Philippe Coutinho - saw Villa take a two-goal lead before James reduced the deficit on the stroke of half-time.

Diego Llorente fired in the equaliser for Leeds following a fluffed Tyrone Mings clearance from a corner.

Villa's Ezri Konsa capped off the gripping contest with a red-card as time wound down.

The point maintains Leeds' six-point advantage over the bottom three and keeps Aston Villa 11th on 27 points, four more than the Whites.
