Watford midfielder Imrân Louza felt they could've done more after their 2-0 defeat to Brighton.
The Morocco international acknowledged that despite a more productive second half, they allowed the Seagulls to maintain their grip on the match.
“I was disappointed in the first half, it was complicated because we were too passive," Louza said.
“We changed in the second half, made more chances and controlled the game. We kept working and pushing to make it turn in our favour.
“We can do better, but we knew that they like to keep the ball because we know their style and we had to adapt.
“It doesn't matter whether our performance improved in the second half because in the end we lost the game, and that's what matters. We have to work hard in order to change these details and when we have chances, we have to take them."
