Manchester United are being linked with RB Leipzig striker Christopher Nkunku.
The highly-rated Frenchman is already on the radar of some of Europe's top clubs, including Manchester City, Real Madrid, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.
ESPN says there has been an increased interest in Nkunku upon the request of United interim manager Ralf Rangnick.
The report adds that the 24-year-old was not being considered by United's scouting team before the appointment of Rangnick, who will move to a consultancy role at Old Trafford in the summer.
This is despite Nkunku being one of the most highly-rated players in Europe – he has scored 19 goals and registered 13 assists in 31 games for RB Leipzig already this season.
