Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson is hopeful of Luis Diaz settling quickly.
There were signs of an understanding between Robertson and the new signing down the left flank during the Reds' 2-0 Premier League win over Leicester City at Anfield on Thursday.
And the defender believes there will be a lot more to come from the Colombia international.
"He doesn't speak much Scottish, that's for sure!" said Robertson. "He sits next to me in the training room but his English is very, very little.
"The people who speak Spanish are helping him settle in a lot. I can help, I just kind of smile and laugh at him and try to make him feel comfortable.
"But I think I need to learn 'man on' or 'time' (in Spanish) and maybe that will do for now!
"I'm really impressed with him. Obviously we will get more training and games with him and hopefully he settles in quite quickly."
