Arsenal defender Gabriel admits Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's departure last month was difficult.
Aubameyang, after being frozen out from the senior squad for discipline issues, was released from his contract on deadline day to join Barcelona.
Gabriel recalled: "I don't want to talk about that… Aubameyang is in my heart, we all loved him at Arsenal.
"It's something that happened between him and the staff, the other players weren't in it.
"I said goodbye to him before he left, I hope he will enjoy Barcelona, he is a very nice person with a big heart and I love him very much."
