Kota Kinabalu: Malaysia's first solo Everest summiter Ravichandran Tharumalingam will select a Sabahan to join a mission he will lead to conquer the world's tallest mountain, according to an advisory.
The mission named "Program Keluarga Malaysia - Everest Expedition 2022, A Journey to the Top by Sabahan", is set to be launched by Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, said the advisory from RTM.
The launch will be held on Feb 25, at 10.30am, at the Shangri-La Hotel, Bandaran Berjaya, Kota Kinabalu.
Ravichandran, best known as Ravi Everest, conquered the summit in 2006, a feat that made the Malaysia Book of Records.
