Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers concedes they'll struggle to keep Youri Tielemans.

Tielemans has 18 months remaining on his current deal at the King Power stadium but Leicester have not made any progress in talks over a new contract. Both Arsenal and Manchester United are on alert over the availability of the Belgium midfielder.

He scored a penalty in Leicester's 2-2 draw with West Ham on Sunday and Foxes boss Rodgers struck a remarkably sombre tone when grilled on the midfielder's future after the game.

Rodgers said: "With his contract running down then I'm pretty sure there will be teams looking at him, but I'm also a realist as well.

"We are real as a football club. You'll get people asking if we can hang on to these players for the next six or seven years.

"But the reality is that if a player does really well at Leicester, he may want to leave and move on to another club. For us, it's just about being ready for that."
