PETALING JAYA: Three doctors are among 25 individuals arrested for their alleged involvement in nine cases of producing and selling fake vaccine certificates to the public.
The others who were picked up include three nurses, seven agents, a clinic employee and 11 members of the public, federal commercial crime investigation department director Kamarudin Mohd Din said.
He said two of the doctors – one each from Selangor and Terengganu – were arrested last month, and the third was detained at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Feb 4.
“So far, we have investigated nine cases and have almost completed most of the investigations into the other cases.
“We will send the investigation papers to the deputy public prosecutor in the near future,” he said at a media conference today.
