Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland has told Real Madrid to get serious if they want to sign him.

Real are hoping to sign Haaland, although the idea of leaving him with Borussia Dortmund until 2023, when Karim Benzema's deal ends, has not been liked by the forward's camp.

Kylian Mbappe is set to join Benzema and Vinicius Junior in the summer, while Madrid also have Marco Asensio, Rodrygo, Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic.

“Stop the stories about a deal in 2023," wrote Jan Aage Fjortoft on twitter. The former Norwegian footballer is close to Haaland's father Alfie.

“Haaland is not a second-hand car that you can park somewhere until you need it. Erling is a Bugatti that you use now!"
