Kota Kinabalu: More children in Sabah are testing positive for Covid-19, with some 673 kids under 11 found positive on Saturday, said Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Majun.
He said of the figure, 283 were children below five, who were not eligible for vaccination.
“Another 390 were children aged between five and 11, who were eligible for vaccination but were yet to get the jabs. Both these groups made up 12.56 per cent of the caseload on Saturday.
“It is highly recommended that parents bring their children, if eligible, to be vaccinated to reduce the risk of transmission or serious effects of infection,” said Masidi in a statement, Saturday.
