AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli hailed the performance of Mike Maignan for last night's derby win against Inter Milan.
Maignan was outstanding between the posts for the 2-1 win.
Pioli said, "Honestly, I was not surprised. He already hurt us a lot in the match against Lille in the Europa League.
"From there we started following him and therefore we knew his qualities.
"Maignan is a strong goalkeeper who has already won a championship, moreover with an outsider team, and who is part of the French national team."
