Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists Manchester City's defeat to Tottenham on Sunday "changes nothing".
However, he concedes with City just six points ahead the title race is on.
He said: "You can expect [City to win theirs] historically. We play them once and that is the one we want to win, definitely as well. If it was 12 or 15 points it would be different situation, but now we just want to be focussed on this game.
"It's a very difficult Premier League game. You saw all the faces of Leeds on Sunday. Very brave offensively and go with everything they have, and then defensively you can cause them problems but it's difficult as well because of the man marking all over the pitch.
"They never give up and we have to make sure we are 100% spot on.
"The truth is I was on the way home when it was 2-1 to Tottenham and then I arrived at home and didn't follow it anymore because I was sure they would equalise.
"Then we went out and the driver was very excited and told me that it was 2-2 then 3-2, I thought City won but it was Tottenham so 'Oh' was my reaction.
"Nothing changes for us, we have to win all our games."
