The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) has once again brought back its annual loyalty reward campaign, Ganjaran Kesetiaan Simpan SSPN Prime, for 2022 to encourage depositors to continue saving via their Simpan SSPN accounts. Already ongoing, it is set to run until 30 April 2022.

Open only to depositors who created their Simpan SSPN Prime accounts between 2004 to 31 December 2018, the campaign offers an additional 1% return – on top of the annual SSPN dividend – as a token of gratitude for their loyalty. The depositors do, however, need to meet the following requirements:

  • Deposit a minimum cumulative amount of RM500 into their Simpan SSPN Prime accounts during the campaign period.
  • Do not withdraw from any Simpan SSPN Prime accounts that are opened under the depositor’s name during the campaign period (for those with more than one accounts).
  • Do not withdraw from Simpan SSPN accounts that are eligible for Ganjaran Kesetiaan during a specified holding period of between 1 May to 31 July 2022.

Note that the 1% return will be provided based on the deposit amount that has been made during the campaign period, and is capped at a maximum of RM8,000 for each eligible account. If you successfully qualify for the Ganjaran Kesetiaan provided, the reward that you’ve earned will then be automatically credited into your accounts in August 2022. Aside from that, SSPN also clarified in its FAQ that the Ganjaran Kesetiaan amount earned is not eligible for tax relief.

“The Ganjaran Kesetiaan Simpan SSPN Prime 2022 that will be given is well worth it as an additional return, in addition to the annual dividend. To all eligible Simpan SSPN Prime depositor, grab this golden opportunity,” said the chairman of PTPTN, Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan when he launched the campaign during the announcement of the SSPN dividend for 2021.
