The 25-year-old midfielder is enjoying life at Fiorentina and has been tipped to turn his loan spell into a permanent switch this summer.
He has featured in 20 of the Serie A outfit's 23 league games and recent reports have suggested Vincenzo Italiano wants to trigger the £12.7million (€15m) buy option in his contract.
However, Fiorentina qualifying for European football has been described as a 'natural prerequisite' if Torreira is to stay permanently.
And such an outcome isn't guaranteed, with Fiorentina currently in eighth, three points behind Lazio in sixth with 15 games left.
