Milan remain top of the table despite last week's draw with Salernitana.
Saelemaekers said: “We were too frantic, it can be a lesson for our next games so we don't repeat the same mistakes.
“We've done a lot of work to get where we are, now we want to show with some trophies that we're a great team.
"But now we just have to think about winning one match after another, we have to stay focused on the games."
